This Comprehensive 16-hour pistol instruction is a two-day series of classes that will teach new students all about firearms. We begin the course with gun safety, how pistols function, how to load and unload your pistol, proper grip, proper stance, how to shoot accurately, how to clean your handgun, and much more. Most beginning pistol classes only have 2 to 4 students. We provide one expert instructor for every two students. Our expert staff is friendly and patient. We have been providing firearms training since 1989 and know what works and what doesn't. You wouldn't send your child to an amateur for their Driver's Training; don't you settle for an amateur instructor for your firearms training.

This basic rifle class is packed full of information that will assist you in becoming familiar with high-powered rifles. Students will learn about rifle safety, operation, ammunition, fundamentals of rifle accuracy, proper bench rest position, cleaning, storage, and more. Very knowledgeable rifle instructors who have many years of SWAT Team and Sniper Team experience will present this course. Rifles with "open sights" are allowed in the basic course. Red dot optics, or scopes, are suggested in the basic class, but required in all advanced rifle training. Students are responsible for supplying a clean rifle and all ammunition required for this course. Only factory ammo is allowed. No reloads or hand loads are allowed. We offer rentals for students who don't own a rifle yet.

This beginning shotgun course teaches new students about shotgun safety, shotgun operation, ammunition selection, fundamentals of shotgun accuracy, proper standing position, cleaning, storage, and much more. This course of instruction also includes a round of Trap Shooting. Having new shotgun students shoot a full round of Trap on the first day is very beneficial. Students learn to focus on the moving target (clay bird) and not on the recoil of the shotgun. Trap fees and a box of shells are included in the course fees.

We are now offering a 1-day pistol refresher course for any of our previous students who attended our 2-day beginning pistol course. If you attended our 2-day class and haven't been to the shooting range very often since, now you can take a 1-day refresher course. We will review everything you learned before, and as always, you'll receive our Expert instruction on the shooting range. This class is for our returning students only.

The Bravo Tactical Pistol training was designed for Intermediate and Advanced level students who want to become Tactical Pistol Shooters (Combat Shooters). Don't let the word Combat throw you off track. If a homeowner is forced to use his/her handgun to defend and protect their family, that's Combat.

Bravo Tactical Pistol training is offered as a series of 8-hour courses. With our Bravo courses, students are able to choose the level of training and expertise that they desire. In other words, students can attend only one Bravo course or as many as they want. Each Bravo course adds new tactical pistol training as well as working on the skills from the Bravo course(s) already attended. These classes are the most fun and the most rewarding.

Bravo Tactical Pistol Series training is perfect for police officers and recruits, those who have a CCW (or want to obtain a CCW), or anyone who wants the personal protection skills needed to defend themselves and their families. Students wanting to attend our Bravo training must be accomplished and safe pistol shooters or have recently completed our 2-day Alpha Series course.

For those Bravo students who have "made the commitment" to become as prepared as possible, our expert's in-depth training comes from decades of SWAT Team experience.

"A person can BS their way through a lot of things in life, but a firefight is not one of them." We train hard so that you can fight easily. Think about what level of readiness you want to have, then call the Experts. We can make you better than you ever dreamed possible.

This rifle course is packed with information to assist you with bullet drops, wind drift, how to read the wind, scope adjustments, and MOA vs. Mils. Students will also learn the proper bench-rest position, along with standing, seated, kneeling, and prone positions. The classroom instruction is very in-depth, and there is more range time to work on accuracy under the guidance of a former Sniper Team Leader.

Students are responsible for supplying scoped rifles and ammunition. Only factory ammo is allowed. No reloads or "hand loads." Rifles must be clean and sighted in (at least on paper at 100 yards).

Some counties (for example, Contra Costa County) require an 8-hour training course, and other counties (for example, San Joaquin County) require 16 hours of training.

We only train a few students per class. That gives our students a lot of personal instruction.

***WARNING*** Some firearms trainers offer a few hours of classroom instruction and only an hour of pistol qualification and give you a quick certificate. They aren't providing their students with any firearms instruction; they are only having them shoot the course. They are providing inadequate training because they are only interested in making money. These guys are not ethical. If you are going to carry a concealed firearm; Please, Please, Please, get proper training. Our SWAT Experts provide hours of advanced pistol instruction in addition to shooting the qualification course. Our CCW training is presented by senior members of SWAT. We know what is at stake, and we want to prepare you to win. Don't go to an Amateur; you'll learn to fight like an Amateur. Get yourself the proper training, or don't carry. It's just that simple. Every one of our CCW students leaves our CCW course with a greater level of skill. Some people can BS their way through life, but that doesn't work in a firefight.

We offer 9 lessons to our approved CCW (Concealed Carry Weapons) certification training courses. Our instruction includes an Introduction to Concealed Carry, Legal Aspects of Concealed Carry and self-defense, Carry Modes and Concealment, Presenting the Pistol from Concealment, Position and Movement Shooting, Special Shooting techniques, and a Course Review. Our students receive many hours of instruction on just Presenting the Firearms from Concealment, Position, Movement Shooting, and Special Shooting techniques.

CCW training is not for beginners. Students must be very accomplished with gun safety rules along with the safe handling and firing of their firearms. Every county requires a shooting qualification course. Some counties require this qualification course to be timed. If students are unable to qualify for the course that your county requires, a certificate of successful completion will not be provided. The recent completion of at least one of our Bravo Tactical Pistol classes would be beneficial to successfully passing the qualification course, but it's not required. No pistols smaller than .380 caliber are allowed, and push-button holsters like the Blackhawk Serpa are not allowed. Former SWAT Team Command Staff, SWAT Team Leaders and SWAT Team Members will be presenting this Expert CCW Certification & Training, with only a few students at a time.

Delta Series Combat Pistol training is very advanced and specialized training. We will teach you how to tactically engage a threat from a holster and how to shoot while moving. This course includes the "Art of Combat Reloading." We will also introduce you to shooting at steel targets. Shooting steel is an outstanding way to teach movement shooting, as the bullets hitting steel provide instant audible feedback of a hit. Delta Combat is our most advanced pistol instruction, and it is often presented as Private Instruction, meaning One Instructor and One Student. For safety reasons, students are required to attend at least 2 of our Bravo Tactical Pistol courses (active police officers may need only one Bravo Tactical Pistol course to qualify) and have demonstrated a positive attitude and that their safety skills and their shooting skills are ready for this next step in training.

All of our instructors have extensive SWAT Team experience, so these courses are fast paced, demanding, and have different degrees of (intentional) stress. They are also very rewarding and will skyrocket your confidence and your level of skill.

Delta Series Combat Carbine training is very advanced and specialized training. We will teach you how to tactically engage a threat with a long gun while moving or using tactical shooting positions. This course will incorporate transitioning to and from your pistol. This course also includes the use of steel targets of different sizes and at various distances. Shooting steel is an outstanding way to teach movement shooting, as the bullets hitting steel provide instant audible feedback of a hit. This is our most advanced carbine instruction. This course can be presented as Private Instruction, meaning One Instructor and One Student, or in small groups. For safety reasons, students are required to be very accomplished carbine shooters, or active police officers, to qualify for any Delta Combat courses.

All of our instructors have extensive SWAT Team experience, so these courses are fast-paced, demanding, and have different degrees of (intentional) stress. They are also very rewarding and will skyrocket your confidence and your level of skill.

This is our premier rifle training series. This specialized rifle training is only offered to students who have recently completed at least one of our Bravo Series Rifle Training courses, are Military riflemen, military contractors, or are current members of a SWAT or Sniper Team. The lesson plan is packed full of valuable instruction and range training that will assist you in becoming very knowledgeable about the use of high-powered rifles. The skills that you will learn are the skills our SWAT Team Snipers used in the field for decades. Your lead instructor will be a former Sniper Team Leader with 21 years of experience as a SWAT Team Sniper.

Students are responsible for supplying a scoped rifle and at least 100 rounds of match ammo. Only factory-boxed ammunition is allowed. No reload or "hand loads". Rifles must be clean, in excellent condition, and sighted in at 100 yards or 200 yards prior to the start of class. This course of instruction will be conducted in Sacramento County.

With our 5 Expert instructors having a combined total of 167 years in law enforcement, you can imagine how deep our support is for every officer.

We can provide a refresher, or help with accuracy, getting and remaining qualified, movement shooting, combat reloading, tactics, building the proper mindset, or the physiological and psychological effects that your body goes through in an OIS. Our training comes from our 104 years as Post-Certified Firearms Instructors and 100 years of SWAT Team experience, and all of our instructors have attended (as many as 13) seminars presented by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman.

We have the skills that you need. As listed above in Delta Series, our tactical pistol training retails for $100 per hour.

We have reduced the cost of our LEO tactical training (by 37.5% - 50%) to make it more affordable to as many officers as possible because we “Back the Blue”.
